An Event You Can’t Miss, The Charleston Food & Wine Festival

One of my favorite South Carolina events is coming up that you don’t want to miss - The Charleston Food & Wine Festival. The event takes place from March 5th - 9th in 2025 & is one of the largest festivals in the state featuring food from across the country, & adult drinks from around the world. There are a lot of ticket options. Here is how we do the weekend trip…

Get The “Weekender Bundle”

Tickets - Weekender Bundle

We always get the weekend bundle for access to the Culinary Village from Friday to Sunday. While single-day tickets are available, each day offers a unique experience that you won’t want to miss. The Weekender Bundle also gives you early entry & a VIP restroom & lounge area. The Friday festival is perfect for enjoying a more relaxed atmosphere with fewer crowds, allowing you to sample delicious food, wine, beer, & spirits without long waits. On Saturday, the excitement peaks as the festival buzzes with energy. Although lines may be longer, they provide a great opportunity to meet fellow food lovers & make new friends. By Sunday, we usually feel some festival fatigue - especially from our post-event adventures…details below - but it’s a wonderful chance to revisit your favorite dishes & drinks with fewer crowds.

Opening Night Tickets

The early bird gets tipsy or something like that… Make it a long weekend because you do not want to miss Opening Night on Wednesday, March 5th. This year’s opening night kicks off in the Cistern Yard at the College of Charleston. I've experienced some of the best festival food ever at this event, including an unforgettable nightcap-to-go last year - a bacon, egg, & cheese biscuit from Bodega CHS, served in a brown bag. It was stupid good. I had 2/3.

Ad-ons & how we do the our Charleston long weekend trip…
