I’ve lived in Ascot for years and love the neighborhood. Ascot is a well-established neighborhood located in Irmo, SC off Kennerly Road near Lake Murray. The neighborhood offers sidewalk-lined streets, a clubhouse with full kitchen and entertaining space that can be booked for private events (pictured below), a large community pool and cabana, a new playground, and tennis courts.

Fun Fact: Ascot is a horse friendly neighborhood with trails throughout. At one time the neighborhood featured a stable and horse run, which was sold to a private party a few years back. A few times a year you may see someone horseback in the neighborhood.

Planned activities are scheduled throughout the year including a neighborhood party at the pool and an impressive July 4th firework show. These events are open to residents of Ascot and their friends and family.

Ascot Estates features homes from $500,000 to $1,000,000+ that are typically 4,000 – 10,000+ square feet on larger lots. While custom homes are the norm in this section of Ascot, the original developer, Mungo Homes, offers their Sovereign Homes product as well.

Ascot Glen, Ascot Downs, and Ascot Place all feature homes on larger lots starting at $300,000. The Courtyards at Ascot Ridge offers courtyard-style, all-brick homes on smaller lots and also start in the $300s.

Ascot Woods, the newest section of Ascot, features Mungo Sovereign Homes starting in the $400s. This neighborhood can be found near the Hollingshed Road entrance.
